Since our start in 1999, web design has been the bread and butter for Karmapoint Visual Media. We do not deal in pre-built "turnkey" web sites and we do NOT charge by the page. Everything is custom built to send your specific message to your target audience, using a look and feel based upon your exisitng brand and marketing materials (or we can help you to develop these pieces to use on your site and with other areas of your business). Basic search engine optimization is included with every site, and we teach every client what they can do on their own to increase their position.
Our Process:
- Identify target audience
- Examine the specific message the client wishes to send to these visitors
- Assist the client in mapping out their pages and content
- Explore existing brand elements or help develop a brand
- Determine technical needs of the client:
- Is there already a domain name?
- Is hosting needed?
- How will updates be done?
- Is a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) interface necessary?
- Blogs/wikis/discussion boards/audio/video/flash?
- What email options are needed?
- Develop the first draft of the layout.
- Present to client and identify necessary changes (repeat as needed)
- Plug in actual content, upload and begin to promote!
